The First Post in the Blog
January 25, 2008
Welcome to the DallaCor blog site. Feb 6, 2008
I am very excited about the redesign of my logo and web site. It was delightful to work with artist and musician David Rankine www.davidrankineart.com again. David and I were first linked when David created the art work and I wrote the poetry for Lance Secretan’s Spirit @ Work Cards. Thank you so much, David, for sharing your talents. Not only is the logo just right to reflect who I am and what I do, it was also a pleasure to work with you again.
The web site creation and design by Ryan Wiseman ( ryan@rjgcreative.com) is especially important as it is the means of communication between you and me. I had done my own web site design for several years but had reached my limit. Front Page had also reached its limit.
Thank you Ryan for your keen sense of what works best. It is fun working with you and I appreciate your accommodating manner as we work on the finishing touches electronically from a distance.
I am excited about several of the new features Ryan has been able to incorporate into the website
- This blog site for one, where you can respond too
- and the subscribe - unsubscribe feature for the new monthly Tips and Notes
- as well as the real voice pod cast on the home page
- and the events listed at the top right
- plus the contact form on the contact page.
Could even be more as I get used to this system and brave enough to try out new things. I would love for you to try out these new features and help me identify any glitches so we can get the site in top shape.
Thanks. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hypnotherapist and EFT expert
About 5 years ago, Jackie Hofmann began her personal quest for health which resulted in her training as an internationally certified Touch for Health Practitioner, then Neuro-Linguistic Programmer, Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner and Certified Hypnotist. She was curious, bound and determined that it wasn’t necessary for her to accept the doom and gloom verdict of her Medical Specialists; simple. It is her own personal journey of healing after many years of suffering the agony of rheumatoid arthritis, and surviving cancer that has made her more sensitive to her client’s needs.

Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner, Align Nutrition
My name is Angela Wright, and I am the founder of Align Holistic Health and Nutritional Services. In 2003 my father passed away from a secondary occurrence of colorectal cancer; this time it came back in his spine. The six months before he died I was fortunate enough to be able to be at his side; he was bedridden and in a lot of pain. I saw that the allopathic treatments (chemo, drugs) were not helping him improve, and started exploring the world of alternative healing. As I researched into foods that would help build his strength, I realized this may be the career path I was looking for. I moved to Toronto to attend the Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN) and obtained a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition. I then qualified for my CNP (Certified Nutritional Practitioner) and RNCP (Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner) designations. My father passed away before I could truly get into holistic nutrition, but now I am armed and educated to help others with my knowledge. I know this would make him very proud.

Winter or Spring 2009: dates and times to be announced based on preferences of participants where possible
This unit will focus from start to finish on building a wellness plan for yourself. I have found a valuable Stress assessment tool called StressMap which I would like to share with you. What I like most about it is that it identifies your areas of strength and to me this is the key to building both hardiness and resilience. This unit helps you with Stress Management but not in the usual way. StressMap is a well researched assessment tool.
You will also explore using intuition and energy in your own wellness program. Heightened awareness of your inner voices will enable you to work through challenging situations with more clarity. We will also incorporate a basic introduction to programs that help you know more about yourself and others such as “Insights” and “One Smart World”. You may wish to pursue them in more depth on your own at a later date.
Ongoing email support between sessions is especially useful in this unit as is the one-on-one individual session we will schedule.
